Duke Imports, a family owned business of exclusive bedding products, experienced a slow down in sales from its Virah Bella Amazon store.
Nectar’s team analyzed the store’s performance, and determined these factors to be the main issues:
1. The layout prevented shoppers from quickly locating and purchasing products.
2. The store didn’t feature the latest top-selling products.
3. The design was now outdated.
The first thing Nectar’s designers did was to restructure the navigation menus and the page layout for the shoppers to easily find products and shorten the buying decision process.
After fixing the UX and navigation of the site, the design team updated the UI.
They also elevated the design based on the brand’s updated style, which included a strong color palette, texture, branded headers, typefaces, and a clean typeface hierarchy.
Lastly, Nectar added the best selling products with good CTR and CVR to the home and subpages.
30 days after the revised store was published, there was a 117% increase in sales and 36% increase in CVR for the total site. Monthly sales from the store rose from 4 figures to 5 figures and increased by over $9,000.The home page saw greater improvements of 232% increase in sales and 177% increase in CVR.
By basing our design work on the raw data, Nectar was able to achieve incredible improvements for Duke Imports.
