Over and Back, an experienced dinnerware brand with success in brick-and-mortar retail, wanted to enter the Amazon e-commerce space. With no prior online presence, they turned to Nectar to craft a launch strategy that would capture the market and lead to profitable growth.

Nectar developed a comprehensive strategy starting from account setup through creative asset development, keyword research, and a full-funnel advertising plan. Nectar crafted a strategic roadmap to launch Over and Back on Amazon, ensuring a smooth transition into e-commerce while building a strong brand presence and driving sales:

New Account Setup and Product Listings:

  1. Amazon Account Setup: Nectar managed the setup of Over and Back’s Seller Central account, ensuring that all backend operations, such as FBA integration and logistics, were optimized for efficiency.
  2. Complete Product Listings: Custom product titles, bullet points, and descriptions were written from scratch, incorporating SEO best practices to ensure maximum discoverability.
  3. A+ Content and Storefront Guidance: While Over and Back’s team was responsible for creating their brand assets, Nectar provided strategic guidance on the types of content that would perform best, such as detailed A+ content that visually highlighted key product features and helped boost customer engagement.

Advertising Strategy:

  1. Full-Funnel Advertising Approach: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns were launched to capture customers at every stage of the buying journey. This comprehensive strategy aimed to drive brand visibility, sales, and customer acquisition.
  2. Competitor Targeting: Nectar’s team targeted competitor products in ad campaigns to quickly capture market share and redirect potential customers toward Over and Back’s listings.
  3. Review and Feedback Strategy: An early reviewer program was implemented to quickly build social proof, accelerating trust and boosting conversion rates on new listings.

SEO and Organic Growth:

  1. Keyword Research and Optimization: Nectar conducted in-depth keyword research, ensuring that Over and Back’s products ranked for high-value, high-traffic terms relevant to their category.
